Q: Can people holding down a job also enroll?
A: Yes, enrollment is also open to job holders. Courses are designed for people in the working world with Master’s-level knowledge and experience. For more details, please refer to the application qualification information in the guidelines for applicants.
Q: What time of year are seminars held to explain about enrollment and when are the entrance examinations?
A: Explanatory seminars are scheduled to be held in April (for Ochanomizu University) and in June/July (for Tokyo Medical and Dental University). An “open campus” day is also held for those interested in taking the graduate school entrance examination. Please check our website. Entrance examinations will be held in the summer of 2013 and winter of 2014 (additional recruitment).
For Exchange Students:
A: Tokyo Medical and Dental University also has an October enrollment system for exchange students. This system is for students who live outside of Japan and do not speak Japanese, allowing them to take the entrance examination and enroll. For more details, please refer to that section of the university’s website. But please be aware that after enrolling, classes in this program will be held in Japanese.
Q: How much is the tuition?

A: There is a tuition waiver system for students with an outstanding academic record. There is also a system for lifestyle support that is used by a lot of students. It involves working as a TA or RA while doing research or studying. (Availability depends on the academic year budget.) A: Yes. With the participation of faculty in career counseling, the following types of support systems are available. Q: Where in Japan are the four universities located?
A: The four universities are located in the center of Tokyo. The universities are just one hour from Narita International Airport or about 30 minutes from Tokyo International Airport. All four can be reached using the JR Yamanote Line or subway, making it easy to get from one university to another. It is an ideal environment for study or research.
